SMS Messaging Program Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: April 28, 2026 · Last Updated: April 28, 2026
These SMS Messaging Program Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern your participation in the tecbu Shift Callout Notifications text-message program operated by tecbu (“tecbu,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description
Program Name: tecbu Shift Callout Notifications.
Program Sponsor: tecbu, San Antonio, Texas, USA.
tecbu provides home-care agencies with an automated SMS notification service that alerts subscribed caregivers when a last-minute open shift becomes available. After a caregiver opts in, the program may send: (a) shift-availability alerts; (b) confirmations and reminders related to a shift the caregiver has accepted; and (c) occasional service messages such as opt-in confirmations and account updates.
This is a transactional messaging program. We do not use it to send marketing, promotional, or third-party advertising content.
2. How to Opt In (Mobile Opt-In Path)
Enrollment in the tecbu Shift Callout Notifications program is strictly voluntary and is not a condition of employment. Caregivers opt in through the following mobile opt-in path:
- Your home-care agency presents the optional service and reads or shares the consent disclosure (Section 3 below) with you during onboarding or shift orientation.
- If you agree, you confirm enrollment from your personal mobile phone by texting the word START to +1 (330) 567-4894.
- You will receive a one-time confirmation text message acknowledging your enrollment and reminding you of the HELP and STOP keywords.
Only the mobile phone number from which you send the opt-in keyword will be enrolled. Phone numbers are not added by any other person and are never imported from purchased or third-party lists.
3. Consent Disclosure (Call-to-Action)
The following disclosure is presented at the point of opt-in:
“By texting START to +1 (330) 567-4894, you agree to receive shift-callout text messages from tecbu on behalf of your employing home-care agency. Message frequency varies based on shift availability. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Consent is not a condition of employment. See our Privacy Policy and these SMS Terms for details.”
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on how often your employing agency has an open shift that matches your availability and service area. On average, subscribers receive between 0 and 10 messages per week. Volumes may be higher during peak periods (such as holidays or seasonal staffing shortages) and lower during slow periods.
5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. tecbu does not charge a fee for participating in the program, but your wireless carrier’s standard message and data rates apply to every message you send and receive. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
6. HELP Instructions
For help at any time, reply HELP to any message you receive from +1 (330) 567-4894. You will receive an automated reply with customer-care contact information. You can also email us at monday@tecbu [dot] com or visit tecbu.com.
7. STOP Instructions (Opt-Out)
You may opt out at any time, free of charge, by replying STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT) to any message from +1 (330) 567-4894. After you opt out, you will receive a single confirmation message and will not receive further shift-callout messages from this program. To re-subscribe, repeat the opt-in steps in Section 2.
8. Supported Carriers
The program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers, including (but not limited to) AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, and their affiliates. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy
Information you submit to the program (including your mobile phone number, opt-in status, and shift responses) is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information is used solely to operate the shift-callout program.
10. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, the authorized user or owner of the mobile phone number you enroll, and a current caregiver of a home-care agency that partners with tecbu. By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements.
11. Changes to These SMS Terms
